About Traditional Log Homes
Traditional Log Homes Ltd. primary goal and company
philosophy is to provide high quality, truly unique, natural log homes.
These homes begin with number one
quality
Douglas Fir, Spruce or Western Red Cedar. All logs are carefully hand
selected, hand peeled and hand crafted to exact tolerance by well
experienced craftsmen. Traditional is a medium sized hand crafting company
situated in Salmon Arm, B.C., the heart of British Columbia's finest slow
growth timber.
When completed on their 5 acre production yard, each house is coated with non-toxic wood finish, numbered and carefully shipped to its final destination. In most cases a crew member is required to supervise the assembly, but in special projects an entire assembly crew is provided.
Though Traditional Log Homes Ltd. exports to Europe and the Pacific Rim, a good part of their clients come from the recreational and retirement market. Salmon Arm is situated exactly equidistant from Vancouver and Calgary and at the head of the Okanagan Valley.
Established in 1976, the company was founded by Duncan and Vivian Morris.
Traditional is ideally suited to serve out-of-province clients moving to this highly desirable area.
